EXCLUSIVE: Tension Rises Over Delayed Release Of MOUAU SUG Screening Result


Concern and uncertainty have continued to grow among students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike following the delay in the release of the screening results for aspirants contesting in the forthcoming Students’ Union Government (SUG) election.

The screening exercise, which commenced on May 13, 2026, was organised by the electoral committee to assess and verify the eligibility of candidates seeking to contest for various positions ahead of the SUG election scheduled to hold on May 27, 2026, for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Exactly one week after the screening process began, the much-anticipated result is yet to be officially released, sparking reactions and widespread discussions across the university community.
