The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the commencement of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) change of course and institution process for candidates nationwide.

According to the statement, candidates seeking to change their institution or programme of choice are advised to visit any accredited CBT centre to complete the process.
The Board further disclosed that the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026. Candidates are therefore encouraged to visit approved CBT centres for the printing of their result slips and other related services.
This development comes weeks after JAMB released the 2026 UTME results, during which candidates were only able to access their scores through SMS due to the temporary delay in the printing of official result slips.
