NUESA Congress Ignites Ideas, Leadership In MOUAU

 

The Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA), MOUAU Chapter, on campus of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, successfully held its highly anticipated congress, bringing together students, stakeholders, and thought leaders for a dynamic and impactful gathering.

The programme, which commenced at approximately 11:00 a.m, witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries, college presidents, and key stakeholders within and beyond the university community.

The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as participants converged to engage in discussions spanning finance, technology, politics, academics, and student welfare.

A major highlight of the congress was a thought-provoking political lecture delivered by Dist. Sen Ikwujibe, who addressed students on leadership, governance, and the role of youths in shaping Nigeria’s political future. His session sparked conversations around political awareness and active student participation in democratic processes.

In a significant development, aspirants for the forthcoming Students’ Union Government (SUG) elections were formally presented to the congress audience. 

The announcement, made by Hon. Ihekeronye El' Prince, provided a platform for candidates vying for various positions to be introduced, signaling the beginning of heightened political activities on campus.

Beyond politics, the congress featured sessions on financial literacy, technological innovation, and academic excellence, equipping students with practical knowledge relevant to their careers as engineers.
