The West African Examinations Council has officially announced the release of the 2026 First Series results for the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates.

According to the examination body, candidates who participated in the computer-based examination can now check their results through the official WAEC result-checking portal.
This marks another step in WAEC’s transition toward digital assessment, aimed at improving efficiency, reducing examination malpractice, and speeding up result processing.
Candidates are advised to have their examination details ready, including their registration number and result-checking PIN, to access their performance online.
The council also urged candidates to remain cautious of fraudulent websites and only use authorized WAEC platforms to check their results.
