The Students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), have expressed their profound satisfaction with the conduct of the 2025/2026 academic session's first semester examination, which entered its final week on February 2, 2026. IG Keys Blog has reliably learnt that students from various departments praised the university's administration for ensuring a peaceful and well-organised examination process that met the highest standards of academic integrity.
Miss Ogbonnia Favour Chinecherem, a 100-level student of the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, described the examination as her first university exam experience and noted that it was "peaceful and well-organised", attributing her success to the conducive environment and effective invigilation. She commended the invigilators for being calm yet firm in their resolve to penalise any student involved in examination malpractice, saying it helped her stay focused throughout the exams.

A 400-level student of the Department of Library and Information Science, who preferred anonymity, also lauded the university's efforts, stating that she had experienced one of the most peaceful examinations. She attributed the success to the calm environment and strict monitoring, which enabled students to write their exams without fear or distraction. "The environment was so calm and conducive, it helped me to concentrate on my exams," she said.
IG Keys Blog Reporters visited various examination venues and observed students writing their exams in an orderly and calm environment. Supervisors and invigilators were seen doing their jobs diligently, ensuring that the examination process was fair and transparent. The examination halls were well-ventilated, and students were provided with necessary materials, further contributing to the smooth conduct of the exams.
The Chairman of the Examinations and Times Table Committee (ETTC), Prof. Nelson Onwuka, and the Chairman of Academic Quality Assurance and Monitoring Committee, Prof. Chukwuma Ofor, along with members of their teams, were observed to be working round the clock, monitoring the examination process and promptly addressing any lapses or challenges that arose. Their efforts were evident in the smooth conduct of the exams, and students appreciated their dedication to ensuring academic excellence.
