Nigerian singer Ifunanya Nwangene, popularly known as Nanyah, has passed away after being bitten by a snake at her Abuja residence on January 31, 2026.
The 25-year-old's family has announced her burial arrangements, with a service of songs scheduled for February 10, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Abule Oshun, Dansa, Lagos, starting at 4 p.m., followed by a requiem mass at 6 p.m.

Nanyah will be laid to rest in her hometown of Enugu on February 14, 2026, with a thanksgiving service to celebrate her life and legacy on February 15, 2026. Her brother, Kingsley Nwangene, shared the news on Instagram with the caption "Till I see you again".
The music community and fans are mourning her loss, with many taking to social media to pay tribute to the talented singer.
