Course Rep's iPhone Upgrade Sparks Student Uprising

Students of Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, have taken drastic action against their Engineering department course representative, arresting him over allegations of exploiting them.

The representative is accused of selling a textbook originally priced at ₦3,500 for a staggering ₦8,500, sparking outrage among the student body. The incident has raised concerns about the level of trust between students and their representatives.

According to reports, the course rep's actions were brought to light when students discovered he had upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 16 shortly after assuming office. This sudden lifestyle change fueled suspicions among students, who felt they were being taken advantage of.

The allegations against the course rep are particularly disturbing, given the economic challenges many students face. The decision to arrest him reflects the frustration and anger among students, who demand accountability from their representatives.
