The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will convene today (Wednesday) to study the Federal Government’s very last terms presented through the Yayale Ahmed-led renegotiation committee.

Government representatives resumed discussions with ASUU on Monday and Tuesday in a closing-minute attempt to forestall any other nationwide college strike.
Tension has intensified across public universities as ASUU’s one-month ultimatum to the Federal Government expired on Saturday.
