Jonathan Will Contest In The 2027 Presidential Election - Jerry Gana




The People Democratic Party (PDP) executives emerged in Niger State in the congress held at the weekend, former Minister of Information and PDP chieftain has disclosed that former President Goodluck Jonathan will contest the 2027 presidential election on the party’s platform.

At the PDP State Congress in Minna, he told journalists about this and said that the party was ready to have Jonathan back as Nigeria's president. Prof.  Gana said, “In 2015, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan said his ambition was not worth the blood of Nigerians.  

After him, another President ruled for eight years and now another has ruled for two years.  Nigerians have observed the difference, and it is very apparent. 

Nigerians are now asking us to bring back our friend, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

 "I can confirm that Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will run for president again in 2027 as a candidate for the PDP, and that you will vote for him to do so."

According to the top PDP leader, the members of the party believe that democracy must reflect the will of the people to freely choose their representatives. He confirmed that "the PDP has tremendous opportunity in 2027 because it is truly a grassroots party, the founding fathers," when asked if there were opportunities for the opposition party in light of its internal disputes. convened a consultative conference in Abuja and addressed all the issues.”

The former Information Minister claimed that Nigerians love the PDP because the party always comes up with programmes that were people-oriented.

“That is why they remember PDP immensely, and they are urging us to come back,” he added

On the economy, Prof.  Jerry Gana said: “this government, they have a number of evil gatekeepers, keeping away foreign investors.  That’s their major problem.  The best way to increase your wealth is in Nigeria.
