The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has resumed the disbursement of upkeep allowances to beneficiaries of the scheme at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU).

The disbursement, which began today, has been confirmed by several beneficiaries who reported receiving payment alerts in their respective bank accounts.
The development is expected to bring relief to many students who have been anticipating the release of the allowance. Beneficiaries who are yet to receive their payment are advised to remain patient, as the disbursement may be processed in batches.
