A devastating motor accident has reportedly claimed the lives of key student leaders and left several others critically injured within the student community of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS).
According to early reports, the Faculty President, SUG Director of Sports, and the driver involved in the incident have been confirmed dead.
The SUG President is said to be unconscious and receiving urgent medical attention, while the Assistant SUG President has sustained severe injuries, with fears she may lose a leg.
Several other students involved in the accident are reported to be badly injured.
