AKSU SUG President Suspended, As Vice Takes Over

 



The Students' Union Government of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has undergone a leadership change. Comrade Elijah Ekanem, the former SUG President, was suspended with immediate effect due to alleged gross misconduct, including unauthorized collection of a car key from a university driver and providing false information against the constituted authority.

Following Ekanem's suspension, Comrade Goodnews Ndiok, the Vice President, has been directed to assume the role of Acting President.

This decision ensures continuity in leadership and student representation. The matter has been referred to the Students' Disciplinary Committee for further investigation.
