Following the inauguration of the new Students Union Government officials, held Thursday, 12th August, 2025, the Vice chancellor Prof. Maduebisi Ofo Iwe during his speech disclosed that the new academic session commences 5th, October 2025.
He also assured the students community that the university management is working tirelessly to ensure a smooth academic session ahead.
The vice chancellor said colleges on campus will be equipped with electronic devices to improve the academic life of the students and this will be done before students returns back to campus.
In addition, Prof Maduebisi Ofo Iwe urged all students to maintain peace and abide by the rules and regulations of the university community.
