The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), has announced the official inauguration and handover ceremony for its newly elected student leaders.
According to a flyer released by the Office of the Director of Public Relations (Elect), the ceremony will formally usher in the new Executive, Legislative (Students' Representative Council), and Judiciary arms of the Students' Union Government.
The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. prompt at the Anyim Pius Auditorium, MOUAU.

Among the featured student leaders on the announcement are the SUG President-Elect, Comr. Omeonu Uchechukwu Goodnews, and the SUG Public Relations Officer (PRO)-Elect, Journ. Comr. Ethel Stephen Voice, who will officially assume office alongside other elected executives.
The ceremony is expected to bring together university management, staff, student leaders, stakeholders, and members of the university community as the outgoing administration hands over leadership to the newly elected officials.
Organisers described the event as the beginning of "a new dawn of students' leadership," expressing optimism that the incoming administration will promote unity, effective representation, and the overall development of the student community.
Members of the university community have been encouraged to attend and witness the historic transition of leadership within the MOUAU Students' Union Government.
