The 31st Administration of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike has honoured the institution’s outgoing Vice Chancellor, Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, in recognition of his outstanding service and contributions to the university.

The commendation was made during a formal send-off ceremony organised to celebrate Professor Iwe’s tenure and leadership.
The SUG delegation, led by its President, Hon. Comr. Nwogu Bright Chinonyerem (Addison), presented a token of appreciation to the outgoing Vice Chancellor as a symbol of gratitude on behalf of the student body.

In his remarks, the SUG President praised Professor Iwe for his dedication, visionary leadership, and commitment to the growth and development of the university. He noted that the administration’s efforts under Professor Iwe significantly shaped the academic and infrastructural progress of the institution.
Responding, Professor Iwe commended the SUG leadership for their cooperation and active engagement in student affairs. He urged them to sustain their commitment to service and to extend the same level of support to the incoming Vice Chancellor for the continued advancement of the university.
